WELCOME TO OUR DEVELOPMENT PROPOSAL TO IMPROVE THE SAINSBURY'S STORE IN NINE ELMS.
Sainsbury’s has had a store on this site for almost thirty years. Since it was first built, we’ve extended the store twice to meet increasing demand from our customers. Looking ahead we need to plan for the new homes coming forward in the area and respond with a larger modern store to meet our customer requirements.
Our site has been identified by both Lambeth Council and the Greater London Authority as somewhere that is suitable for ‘Intensification’ and also tall buildings. This has been crucially in our thinking as our ideas have taken shape.
We value your custom and we want to give you a better shopping experience by increasing the range of products available as well as building space for other shops and businesses.
What can I do?
The support of the local community and businesses around Nine Elms is incredibly important.
Before we submit our proposals to Lambeth Council, we would like to hear your views. Please take a few minutes to find out more about the plans and complete a online feedback form to let us know what you think.
