We propose to construct a new, improved Sainsbury’s store on the area currently occupied by the car park. The car parking bays will be re-provided underneath the store on the ground floor and basement levels.
The additional space in store will be used to allow shoppers better movement around the store, with wider aisles and more space to browse and shop. We will also introduce a wider range of food products and other popular ranges including Tu clothing.
The existing store already plays an active role in the local community, with colleagues donating time and money to support local charities and good causes. This will continue in the new store.
